This section contains the LCEN legal notice governing the use of the Akivi.fr service!

Article 1 : Website Publisher

In accordance with article 6 of the French law of June 21, 2004 for the confidence in the digital economy (also known as LCEN), we inform you that the website is published by AKIVI SAS, a company with a capital of €27,000, whose registered office is located at 21 “La Roche” Saint-Georges-des-Sept-Voies, 49350 Gennes-Val-de-Loire, France, and which is represented by its Director/Founder, Mr Cyril Royer. The administrative office of AKIVI SAS is located at Laboratoire d’Anatomie de la Faculté de Santé, 28 rue Roger Amsler, 49045 Angers Cedex 01, France. Any dispute shall therefore fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the publisher’s registered office. French is the reference language.

Article 2 : Terms of Use of the Website

Use of the website is governed by this legal notice. By browsing the URLs of the website Akivi.fr, the user acknowledges that they have read and accepted these terms of use. The website’s terms of use may be modified at any time without prior notice. The website offers a variety of text and photo content. This content is updated regularly. However, it may contain omissions or inaccuracies that are beyond the publisher’s control. Should the user notice one or more such anomalies, they are encouraged to contact AKIVI SAS via the website’s contact form, so that the Publication Director can correct them. The website was developed with the WordPress Content Management System and the Elementor page builder, under the authority and expertise of webmaster Frédérique Viviand, who specializes in designing WP websites. For a better experience on the website, the publisher recommends the use of a secure browser such as Safari, Firefox, Brave, Chrome or Edge. The website contains a number of hypertext links allowing the user to access other electronic services unrelated to AKIVI SAS. Although the publisher has verified the validity and reliability of these hyperlinks, they cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience or incident that may occur when the user connects to these third-party platforms.

Article 3 : Publication Director

The website’s Publication Director is Mr Cyril Royer in his capacity as CEO of AKIVI SAS. Mr Royer can be reached at the AKIVI SAS head office or administrative office address. The Publication Manager of the website is Mr Reynald Dal Barco in his capacity as SEO/SMO Consultant and Director of Communications at AKIVI SAS. Mr Dal Barco can be reached at the AKIVI SAS administrative office address or by using the website’s contact form. Article 6 : Intellectual Property Rights

The text, photos and videos available on the website are the exclusive property of AKIVI SAS. Some photos on the website are provided through an exclusive partnership between AKIVI SAS and the Lane Medical Library of the Stanford University School of Medicine. The AKIVI logo was created by the branding agency Brandsilver for AKIVI SAS. The website’s visual identity was created by Sparkk, a graphic design studio and web agency based in Nantes, France, for AKIVI SAS. The AKIVI project would like to thank the Kelcible web/SEO agency and the Atmosphère Communication agency for their contribution to the creation of the AKIVI website. Any reproduction, distribution, modification, adaptation, broadcasting or publication ( whether in print or online) of AKIVI’s textual, photographic or illustrative content – even partial and by any means whatsoever – constitutes an infringement punishable under articles L.3335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. Failure to comply with these provisions constitutes a serious infringement of intellectual property rights and renders the offender legally and criminally liable.

 

Article 7 : Cookies

The website does not currently use cookies, in accordance with the relevant CNIL and European Union privacy policies. It is therefore not necessary to ask for the user’s consent to the use of cookies. If the website publisher were to reverse its initial decision not to use cookies, the user would of course be informed, and electronic consent requests would be implemented immediately. The user is hereby informed that the website Akivi.fr uses French GDPR analytics tool Matomo. The default installation of Matomo on the AKIVI website does not contain any third-party cookies. GDPR Legal Notice

This section covers the legal provisions regarding the collection of the user’s personal data by the website for AKIVI SAS!

Article 1 : Personal Data Collection Tool

The user’s personal data is collected via the contact form, which is only available on the “Contact” page (link in the footer of all website pages). The secure tool developed by Alphabet Inc. (Google) has been designed and remains intended exclusively for this purpose.

Article 2 : Purpose of the Personal Data Collection Tool

The contact form used to collect the user’s personal data has been set up for the sole purpose of enabling the user to contact the AKIVI project team. Use of this form is therefore optional and independent of the user’s browsing on the website.

Article 3 : Type of Personal Data Collected

Personal data is collected via the following input fields: “First Name” of the user, “Last Name” of the user, “Email Address” of the user and “Message” of the user. For personal data protection reasons, the user cannot attach files to their message for the AKIVI project team.

Article 4 : Recipient of Personal Data Collected

The user may choose the recipient of their message. Specifically, this may be the Technical Support of the AKIVI application, the management team of AKIVI SAS or the Communications Department of AKIVI SAS. In any case, the user’s data is stored on the secure servers of the Akivi.fr website host, O2Switch, whose contact details can be found in the “LCEN Legal Notice” section of this document.

Article 5 : Retention Period for Collected Personal Data

In accordance with current legislation, the user’s personal data collected via the contact form of Akivi.fr will be stored for a period not exceeding 365 days.

Article 6 : Rectification and Erasure Rights

The user may, at any time and upon simple request sent by email to AKIVI SAS, rectify or request the erasure of their personal data collected via the contact form on the Akivi.fr website, by contacting AKIVI’s technical department represented by its CEO (Mr Cyril Royer) at the following address: cyril@akivi.fr.

Article 7 : Use of Collected Personal Data

The personal data collected enables AKIVI SAS to reply to the user. AKIVI SAS shall not disclose, transfer or sell the personal data collected to any natural or legal third party.
